College days = broke days.

So instead of taking an expensive spring break, the cheaper the better. Just because its cheap, doesn't necessarily mean that it won't be all that you ever hoped it would be. We aren't talking about a wedding here, after all.

Spring breaks can be cheap, and can definitely happen for those people that are on a budget. Do it the low cost way: drive. Driving from Boston to Ft. Lauderdale seemed like a daunting task, but my three girlfriends and I would have done anything to save a pretty penny. Watch out 95 South, here we come...

Believe it or not, driving was the best decision we could have made. Not only did we get an inside look at every state along the coastal route down, we took our time, visited friends along the way, and most importantly, talked. This was REAL talk. It wasn't simply catching up with one another. It was the type of talk where you feel as though you really got to know the individuals you were driving with. These are the best kinds of talks. They are the chats that you will remember forever.

If I could give anyone advice for spring break, it would be to take the cheaper route. It may take a longer amount of time, but it's more memorable, and that makes all the difference.
